Trust and Commitment through Affirmation

Always and forever I am trusting.

This is an affirmation I use often. I put this photo above because I often speak this affirmation to nature beings, Mother Earth and Divine Beings. Sometimes I just close my eyes and whisper inside. You might also catch me talking to myself at a set of lights. Affirmations work!

Let me rephrase that––They work with practice and consistency! They work when we add a behaviour to them that solidifies them...let's explore further.

I often think of Louise Hay, known as one of the founders of self-help, when I think and say affirmations. I heard of Louise Hay many years ago and to be honest, at that time I was not ready to dedicate my belief in what she shares. Saying affirmations must have belief as a catalyst.

Affirmations in my experience only work if you believe in them, take action on them, and clear the blocks within you that may impede your ability to change through them.

I would like to share a couple of Louise Hay’s affirmations. I thought this next one was interesting, it is for issues with a Fistula, which I learned is a place where an abnormal connection between two body parts occurs. This is the affirmation: "I am safe. I trust fully in the process of life. Life is for me."

Here is another one that I use when my lower back is sore. “I trust the process of life. My needs are always taken care of. I am safe.”

The action I take in relation to this affirmation is to work on freeing up money blocks and doing the trust exercises I am sharing with all of you.

In a recent video post on my YouTube I share how to use the affirmation, “always and forever I am trusting,” adding in a heart meditation. It is all in connecting to building TRUST and COMMITMENT.

Take time to build a relationship with one, two or many affirmations. Explore how to use them and when. Most importantly, I invite you to commit to a practice with affirmations. The commitment will build trust and trust will support your commitment.

They truly go hand in hand.

As I look out the windows of my life, I recognize that all is a relationship. To engage in life is to engage in relationship. Come be in relationship with yourself and with me!

Thank you for being part of my life and engaging in my blog. Love and Light!
